• How much does Skillsetter cost?

  Skillsetter is always free for instructors. Learners pay $59 per course.

• What types of payments do you accept?

  We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

• What is your refund policy?

  If a learner drops their course before using the software, we will issue a full refund. Please contact support to request a refund.

• Does Skillsetter have a patent?

  Skillsetter is currently a patent pending technology.

• Who owns my data?

  For all documents, data and information you upload into Skillsetter, you own all rights to that data. Please review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more information on how Skillsetter uses and protects your data.

Videos & Course Creation

• How large is the Skillsetter video library?

  Skillsetter regularly produces and adds new content to its library so this number is always increasing. Our library currently has over 600 scenarios, with a range of demographics, presenting conditions and cultural diversity. Please schedule a demo of Skillsetter to view the current modules available.

• How do I invite learners to a course?

  Instructors will need to create and publish the course. Once that is complete, go to “Add/Manage Learners” from your course dashboard. From there, you will be able to type in the email address of the learners you wish to invite. Learners will receive an email invitation and a link to sign-up for the course.

• Can I create my own videos?

  Yes! It is easy to add your own video content and rubrics. We created a quick video tutorial that can be accessed here that shows how easy it is to create a course. If you want a more in depth look, please schedule a demo and we would be happy to walk you through the process.

• Is there a limit to the number of videos modules per course?

  No! Instructors can add unlimited videos and modules to each course.

• Is there a limit to the length of video that can be uploaded?

  The length for learner responses is automatically set at 2 minutes. If instructors require a longer response time, please contact support.

Technical & Troubleshooting

• I forgot my password, how can I reset it?

  No problem. Simply go to the password reset page, and enter the email address you used to sign up for your account. We will send a link to your email and you can create a new password.

• What equipment do I need to use Skillsetter?

  Currently, Skillsetter is available to users on a desktop or laptop computer or an Android mobile device to record responses. The device must be equipped with a working microphone and camera. iPhone and iPad devices are not supported at this time.

• What browsers are compatible with Skillsetter?

  You will need to use a supported web browser to log in to Skillsetter. Use the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to optimize your experience. At this time we do not support Safari on MacOS.

• Can I use Skillsetter with a screen reader?

  Yes! Skillsetter was designed with best practices to ensure our system is accessible to screen reader users. Learn more about our accessibility features.

• How do I enable captions?

  After logging in, captions can be enabled on the Settings page. Skillsetter provides captions for all video and audio content we create. Learn more about our accessibility features.

• How do I cancel my account?

  When a course is over, learners will no longer have an active subscription and will not be able to submit new responses. However learners will always have access to the course material to review. If you would like to permanently delete your account, please contact support.
