When will Theravue change its name to Skillsetter?
We will be changing our primary domain from www.theravue.com to www.skillsetter.com on or shortly after February 7, 2022.
Why are you changing your name?
In the five years since founding Theravue, we have grown beyond our initial focus on counseling and therapy training to include additional areas such as social work training, medical training, corporate training, and more. The new name “Skillsetter” better reflects this broader set of application domains.
Are you abandoning counseling training?
Not at all! Our skill building system was originally designed and built for training therapists, and we will continue to support these users going forward. In fact, we will be significantly expanding our video and module content in this area over the next few months.
Will existing Theravue users need to create a new Skillsetter account?
No. In fact, for the vast majority of users there is absolutely nothing to do. Just sign in using your existing email and password and your account will work exactly as it did before.
Will the website functionality be different after the change?
No. We are only changing the name of the website for now. All of the features that you know and love will continue to work exactly as they did before. However some time after the name change we will resume the process of adding new features and functionality, just as we always have.
I am an instructor and I currently have links to Theravue in my course materials. Will they still work?
Yes. All of your links will continue to work just like they always have. The website will automatically redirect any links from www.theravue.com to www.skillsetter.com.
I am a learner and I have already purchased a license to use Theravue. Do I need to purchase a new license to use Skillsetter?
No. The license you have already purchased will still work up until its original expiration date.
